What will you do:

• Actively participate in the development lifecycle, focused on coding and debugging;
• Write clean code that will be the backbone of our APIs and applications.
• Write tests (unit, regression, integration, etc);
• Work with frontend developers, PMs and QA engineers towards building a robust application for our users;
• Deploy applications locally, in development environments and in production using modern tools and applications;
• Work in a cloud environment.

What you need to know/have:

• Ample understanding of modern web development, including planning, designing, implementing, and testing;
• Python;
• REST API development;
• Practical knowledge of SQL, Git and Containers (eg. write a Dockerfile and run it);
• Serverless technology using AWS Cloud, including essential services such as IAM, S3, SQS, DynamoDB, StepFunctions and SDKs/CDKs;
• Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.

Nice to haves:

• Experience with Serverless Framework;
• AWS services that support serverless applications such as API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora, SQS and ECS;
• Experience with regulated environments.
