As we continue to grow and expand our market presence, we are seeking a dynamic Head of Brand Marketing to build and elevate the brand's identity, storytelling, and market presence.
Job Summary
As the Head of Brand Marketing, you will be responsible for shaping the brand's identity, storytelling, and market presence by executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. You will lead a talented team of creatives and marketers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives. This role oversees the development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns, creates and maintains brand guidelines, defines brand messaging, and manages the visual identity and tone of voice. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in both brand marketing within the ecommerce space.
This role is based out of our New York City office in Flatiron and will report into the Co-founder and CMO.
What You’ll Do
- Grow and elevate the brand positioning and messaging to differentiate our products and create a unique value proposition;
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain and ensure the Nestig brand is consistently represented across all marketing channels, including, but not limited to, email, influencer, organic social, and paid social, as well as overseeing (and sometimes writing) copy across all channels;
- Lead the development and strategy of creative campaigns, content, and assets that effectively communicate the brand's story and values, as well as drive brand awareness, traffic, engagement, and conversion;
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of campaigns and consumer insights, adjusting brand strategies as needed to optimize results and increase return on investment;
- Manage and negotiate licensing and high-profile partnerships and collaborations to amplify brand visibility, affinity, and credibility, while ensuring mutual benefit and alignment with our brand values;
- Collaborate with customer experience and product development to ensure that every touchpoint reflects our brand values and enhances the overall experience;
- Lead and develop high-performing creatives and marketers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability; provide guidance and direction to team members to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and goals.
What You’ll Need
- 8-10+ years of experience in marketing roles, specifically within the ecommerce and direct-to-consumer industry
- 4+ years of experience specifically in a leadership and people management role
- Must be able to work onsite in our New York office three (3) days a week [Monday, Wednesday, Thursday], as well as additionally as needed
- Results-oriented mindset with proven track record of success in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and revenue growth
- Strong expertise in brand marketing with experience in direct response marketing and digital marketing channels
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing and developing high-performing marketing teams
- Strategic thinker with the ability to think creatively and identify innovative marketing opportunities
- Strong interest in industry trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies to pinpoint new avenues for brand expansion and innovation
- An individual with experience working both in a creative individual contributor role, as well as in a leadership role
- Comfort with the ambiguity of changing priorities and tight deadlines, and the flexibility to embrace new ideas within a fast-paced environment
