About the role:
Momence’s Data Analyst will harness large-scale data to provide insights that drive strategic decisions across the organization. This individual will analyze complex datasets, develop and maintain analytical models, and collaborate cross-functionally. Their expertise in data analysis, proficiency in Python, and ability to effectively communicate insights will be critical to our success. This person will focus on scripting mass data online, cleaning and aggregating data, and integrating it with existing records from HubSpot to support the sales team. Key areas of responsibility include:

Data Analysis and Modeling: analyzing extensive datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities; developing and maintaining complex analytical models; creating and managing dashboards and reports for actionable insights and real-time visibility
Cross-functional Collaboration: working with global sales, marketing, operations, and customer support teams; facilitating collaboration between departments; working with the sales and sales operations teammates to share insights from HubSpot data
Data Management and Integration: scripting mass data online, cleaning and aggregating data, and integrating with existing records; working with various data sources, including JSON files; ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems and platforms; leveraging HubSpot experience to manage and aggregate company data and analyze competitor data (e.g., booking software and platforms)
Advanced Analytics and Reporting: providing in-depth analysis and recommendations; presenting insights to senior leaders and stakeholders; conducting market analysis and developing top-of-funnel and revenue strategies
Tools and Systems Optimization: leveraging tools like Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation; implementing and leveraging visualization tools to enhance data accessibility and usability
Market and Competitor Analysis: conducting market research and competitor analysis; providing insights to various departments

This is a full time, exempt, remote role for which we’re considering qualified candidates from any location in the United States.

What you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation
  • Strong analytical skills; you can interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience with data visualization tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with global cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and to adapt to shifting priorities
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and management
  • Experience with HubSpot, including scripting, data cleaning, and aggregation
  • Familiarity with analyzing data from competitors and aggregating data
  • Ability to work as part of a globally distributed team, accommodating different time zones
