We are now looking for a Software Engineer in Automation and Infrastructure (SETI) role to help us in our efforts to build the test platforms to allow Capchase to scale following the high-quality standards and the reliability of our system.
This is a high-potential position, supporting the rest of the engineering team as we grow the platform to handle the demands of our increasing number of users and features.
Our customers are our coworkers, and SETI works with engineers across Capchase to provide the test tools and infrastructure they need. This role will work on projects at every stage of the pipeline, improving the CI test experience all the way through to load testing the deployment in production.

🚀 Role

  • Help design, develop, and maintain software tools and systems to support software development, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to understand their needs and provide tools and infrastructure solutions to improve their workflows.
  • Build and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality software.
  • Develop and maintain build and deployment automation pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Continuously monitor and improve the performance and reliability of our infrastructure and tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tools and infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.

🧠 Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field involving software/systems engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience programming in at least one of the following languages: C++, Elixir, Javascript, or Python.
  • Experience with algorithms and data structures.

💡Preferred qualifications

  • Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
  • Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.
  • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of drive.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes, GCP & terraform.
